The main purpose of Corte Certo’s three plate cutting optimization series is the optimization of rectangular cutting plans (two dimensional), though the most complete series, the Plus series, also provides calculations for linear cuts (one dimensional), i.e., bars, profiles etc. But there are some differences between them, since each one of them was designed to meet a specific set of needs.
Most importantly, they all are based on the same logical patterns. That means, for example, that learning how to use the most basic version will continue to be of value, even as you migrate to a more advanced version.
